Bugboss Fighter is a one-of-a-kind  competition that pits a collective force of 50 skilled hackers from the crowd against two of the industry’s most accomplished hackers in an intense two-week challenge. This unique tournament style gives rising hacker talent the opportunity to test their skills against industry vets who have consistently ranked among Bugcrowd’s highest performers. 

Following the outstanding success of the previous Bugboss Fighter, we’re bringing it back with two formidable new champions stepping into the spotlight: tess, known for his automation wizardy , and El Mehdi, for his manual recon expertise.

Prizes to the Crowd

  • 1st place – $1000
  • 2nd place – $500
  • 3rd place – $250

Post event, everyone in the Crowd is invited to a live “Bug Show and Tell” presented by the Bugbosses. This is a live opportunity to learn from the best in the industry and engage with fellow crowd members. 

Important details to know

  • The first 50 hackers to reach out with interest will join the next Bugboss Fighter. Act fast. 
  • Competition starts on February 5th, 2025 and ends February 19th, 2025 at 12am PT.
  • Whichever side wins has the opportunity to participate in a live “bug show-and-tell”.
  • Participants will be invited to an exclusive Discord channel to track scoring, share strategies and have discussions. 

Competition rules

  • Out earn the Bugbosses over the two week period
  • The Bugbosses lose health each time the Crowd discovers 5 P1 (critical) vulnerabilities.
  • The Crowd loses health for every 6 P1 vulnerabilities found by the Bugbosses.
