Happy RSA week from all of us here at Bugcrowd!

As we kick off one of security’s biggest conferences here in our own backyard, we can’t help but reflect on this year’s theme, Better. The theme delivers a broad directive to everyone in the industry, from the board room down to the everyday consumer. It emphasizes the need for improved tools for protection against cyber attacks, further training for developers and security teams, proper security budgets for security programs, enhanced awareness and education for the public, and more.

While we know this won’t all happen overnight, we at Bugcrowd are committed to our part in doing better. Our mission is to make the internet a safer place by helping to address the cybersecurity skills shortage while providing greater opportunities for hackers around the world through our crowdsourced approach. We do this by connecting our customers with the power of the globe’s most elite hackers, leveling the playing field and better preparing them against the ever-advancing techniques of adversaries.

More than 30 percent of CISOs plan on implementing crowdsourced security programs in the next year, and it makes us incredibly excited that there are so many others also standing behind our mission to make internet security better.

But we wouldn’t be living up to our full potential if we just stopped there—so we haven’t. Bugcrowd is also dedicated to bettering the skills of the researchers and our community. We do so through free programs such as Bugcrowd University, educational content and training available to the entire InfoSec community, and LevelUp, an online conference for sharing best practices, research, and strategies.

We’re constantly innovating to support our customers and our Crowd. As our CEO Ashish Gupta like to say, cybersecurity is an infinite game and Bugcrowd has built a culture, crowd, and platform that allows us to perpetuate this game for our customers by making their digital world safer.

We’re proud of the work we’re doing to better security and the internet.
